SBS is thrilled to announce that Stella Aguinaga Bialous will be joining our ladder-rank faculty and teaching in health policy. Stella is a native of Brazil and has been working internationally on cancer and tobacco control policy for several years. She has been involved with the WHO and the WHO Framework Convention on Tobacco Control, the only United Nations’ treaty on a public health topic, since its planning stages and continues to provide policy advice to a range of countries and professional organizations.

The Alliance for Health Policy is a nonpartisan, not-for-profit organization dedicated to helping policymakers and the public better understand health policy, the root of the nation’s health care issues, and the trade-offs posed by various proposals for change.
