Kristen Harknett co-authored an article, "Consequences of Routine Work-Schedule Uncertainty for Worker Health and Wellbeing," that received the Best Paper Award from the American Sociological Association’s (ASA) Mental Health

Dr. Stacy Torres, has been elected a council member in the Sociological Practice and Public Sociology section of the American Sociological Association. Torres will begin her three-year term on Aug. 10.

In September, Dr Torres, joined the editorial board of the Sociology Compass journal. The journal publishes original, peer reviewed surveys of research from across the discipline, and has an international readership. Torres is an editorial board member for the section focused on scholarship on the sociology of family.
