Taylor Cruz - Winner of the Forsythe Dissertation Award for Social Studies of Science, Technology & Health

Taylor Cruz, 6th year Sociology Doctoral Candidate, has been named as the 2018 winner of the Forsythe Dissertation Award for Social Studies of Science, Technology & Health.

This award is granted to doctoral students in any social science field at the University of California, San Francisco or Stanford University. Students must be
actively in the dissertation research or writing phase. The dissertation may address any question in the broad area of social studies of science, technology and medicine or health. Preference is  given to projects using qualitative and/or ethnographic methods.

Taylor will be presenting a seminar on her dissertation work to the Department of Anthropology, History & Social Medicine at UCSF during Fall 2018 or Winter Quarter 2019.
