This digital video was made by Esperanza Padilla's (cohort 2022) during her participation through the Story Jam program. “Women Leading Together: Solidarity in Storytelling” Story Jam is a nine-week online program for Japanese and American women and persons who identify as women to explore experiences, learn leadership skills, and build community with other women through digital storytelling. Story Jam is funded by the US Embassy Tokyo and implemented by the University of Massachusetts Boston’s (UMass Boston) Institute for Community Inclusion (ICI) inpartnership with StoryCenter; a US-based nonprofit that supports individuals and organizations in using storytelling and participatory media for reflection, education, and social change.
