Chou Awarded CSSHRC Fellowship

Sutina Chou was awarded a doctoral fellowship from the Canadian Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council. This award will support Sutina's project titled: "Doctor's orders: biomedicine, authority, and the politics of global health at the World Health Organization (WHO)," which seeks to understand the role of biomedicine in the politics of knowledge of international organizations such as the WHO. Sutina's primary mentor is Dr. Janet Shim, a professor in the Department of Social and Behavioral Sciences.
